If I had known my brother would be a Senator when he grew up, I would have always shared my toys with him... maybe.
I’m sure I would have offered to clean his room and make his bed every day... probably.
Before he left for school in the morning, I would have sung the National Anthem and God Bless America... just in case he was listening.

About the Author
Lynette Carpenter grew up with on a dairy farm with her three brothers. Her oldest brother, Marlin Stutzman, grew up to, indeed, become a Senator. Lynette and her husband, Tim are raising their four children, Tyler, Amy, Corey & Kobe on the Stutzman family farm in Michigan. Contact Lynette at lynettecarpenter@yahoo.com.
