“For this cause, I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles, if you have heard of the Dispensation of the Grace of God which is given me to you-ward: how that by revelation he (Jesus Christ) made known unto me the mystery, musterion, (secret;) (as I wrote afore in few words, whereby when you read, you may understand my knowledge in the musterion (secret) of Christ) which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the spirit…….which from the beginning of the world, hath been hid in God….” God kept this Age which you and I now live, a Secret. Do you believe God can keep a secret? Ephesians 3:9 says it was "hidden in God from the beginning of the world." God didn't tell this secret to anyone. Not even his own son. Why? What was the big deal? Fortunately, we don’t have to guess why to this question or any other question we will ever have about something in The Bible. God has given us all the answers! All we have to do is what The Bereans did: search the scriptures. 1 Cor 2:7 & 8 tells us: “But, we speak the wisdom of God in a musterion (secret,) even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world, unto our glory, which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of Glory!” That statement should take your breath away. If Satan and his henchmen had known about it, they would have never allowed Christ to be killed. Why do you suppose that is? When Jesus was alive on the earth, he could only be in one place at one time. Now, since he is in every believer, he and his power are wherever a believer is. God's plan, through the sacred secret, turned one Son into millions of sons and daughters! One of the problems in understanding this, is the mistranslation of the Greek word "musterion." This word was not translated at all, it was transliterated into "mystery!!" It doesn't mean "mystery," it means Secret!! And since it was a secret kept by God until He revealed it to the Apostle Paul, it is considered a sacred secret. Can you see why? There's no mystery, because it has been revealed to us, it has been made known to us, through the writings of Paul by revelation from Jesus Christ! There is so much more to read and understand about the example the Lord Jesus gave us in the person of the Apostle Paul. His gospel is the true gospel of Jesus Christ, which lays the foundation upon which we are to build. Peter was chosen to take the good news of Jesus Christ to Israel, the Jews. Paul was chosen to bring it to us, to make us heirs of God, the Father, and joint-heirs with Christ, Rom.8:17. Paul was all about doctrine, reproof and correction. The Church of the Body of Christ never existed until the Day of Pentecost had fully come. No doctrine had ever been given to it until Paul came along . Actually no one, including Jesus Christ, knew much about the time in which we now live. The reason being is that God kept it a secret, from everyone!

About the Author
Fred Wolfe was born and raised in Paris, Illinois. Upon graduation from Paris High School in 1967, he joined the Navy and was sent to Vietnam by way of the Philippines. He spent the next eight months in the South China Sea aboard the USS Mauna Loa, AE-8. In 1971, he was separated three months early to go to College of the Redwoods in Eureka, California. In 1973, he was honorably discharged. He accepted Jesus Christ as his savior in 1974, while serving as student body president. A year later, he went to Maine to spread the good news of Jesus Christ. While in Maine, in 1977, he met the love of his life, Joanne Tarantino, who was also there serving others. He was married in 1979. Aft er spending a year in his hometown, they moved to Whitestone, New York and parented two boys before moving to Tucson, Arizona to get out of the cold and raise their children. He and his wife now reside in Marina Del Rey, California.
