His unwavering faithfulness to me covered me like a warm blanket of memories. As He did when I held my two grandsons after their birth, He spoke His word of assurance to me two days earlier when I cradled this newest bundle. And now there was a rainbow.
As if that wasn’t enough, my glazed vision had failed to immediately see a second lower one, more pastel in color. Double rainbows are not entirely uncommon, yet I had not witnessed an enormous amount of them. I felt that God was reiterating His promise to me.
For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

But I was to experience an even greater sight. Our next exit removed the tree line that had masked yet a third rainbow with the same depth of color as the second.
Before that day, I had never witnessed a triple rainbow. I marveled at the timeliness of this wonder. We continued our parallel route with this resplendent display of color for the rest of our journey.
With so many bands of color, the sky seemed unrealistically painted, like a child’s version of what a fairy tale sky would look like as they used every crayon in their box. It was somewhat surreal; I could find no clouds, no blue sky … just row after row of color as the three separate rainbows seemed determined to connect as one.

About the Book
Everyone hears a lot about God’s promises, but seldom are they grasped and claimed for themselves. We often see them as words of what we can hope for but fail to see what we can actually expect. When it comes to the salvation of our descendants, why nestle our hope amidst a sea of doubt-laden anxiety? As time passes and prayers seem unanswered, why merely cling to what we believe is dwindling hope when we can joyfully come to expect in their personal resolve to follow Jesus? God’s Word is explicitly clear in how and why we can rest in this expectancy. This book seeks to study these promises more deeply and explain why a covenant with our Lord can give us our blessed assurance that we’ll share the kingdom with our heirs … our heirs of salvation.
About the Author
Glory’s love for writing is deeply rooted from early childhood. She has exercised her writing through many venues, including in her leadership of the ladies’ fellowship in her local church, where she brings God’s Word forth each month. She also serves on the board as the church secretary. An earlier ministry led her to serve as a hospital chaplain for several years, and opportunity has guided her to join others on mission trips. Holding degrees in business and medical science, she has worked in both fields throughout the years, and is currently employed as a secretary. Glory lives in New Bedford, Massachusetts with her husband, Paul. They have two grown sons and four grandchildren.
