About the Book

We live in times of trouble, despair, distress, depression, and tribulations, just to name a few. Many of us have turned to all kinds of solutions to our problems and situations, to no avail. Why? Because we did not choose the Way, JESUS CHRIST, from His Hebrew name, YAHSHUA. He is the Way to resolve all our troubles, and above all, He is the only Way to Heaven, to our Father GOD, YAHWEH. From topics such as love, conflict/war, and the greatness, grace and goodness of GOD, to other themes including loneliness, gratitude to GOD, flesh versus spirit, and forgiveness and reconciliation, the poems mirror real-life situations and call for action in accordance with the Word of GOD. All proceeds from the sale of this poetry book will go to P.A.S. HOPFAN, to fund the organization’s activities, especially those in support of children, widows, and orphans.

About the Author

Pray-Act-Serve, House Of Prayer For All Nations (P.A.S. HOPFAN) is a Christian, nonprofit non-governmental organization in the service of GOD and mankind. It is based in Bangui, Central African Republic. P.A.S. HOPFAN’s vision is to see “Men and women released from captivity and living on earth the abundant life that JESUS CHRIST has promised to us.” Its mission is to help GOD’s people and those who are looking for the Truth to know and have intimate relationships with The One who came to save the world, so that these men and women have life in abundance. One of P.A.S. HOPFAN’s achievements is the establishment of Complexe Scolaire Siloé, a school based in Bangui, which welcomes orphan pupils and students free of charge and others from poor families at a reduced cost. The two Co-founders of P.A.S. HOPFAN (Pastor Léonard Matchide Gonitoua, President, and Suzie N., Vice-President) are also the coauthors of this poetry book.

GOD called Pastor Gonitoua in Bangui, at the age of 10. He was baptised in 1982. In 1994, GOD sent him to the Democratic Republic of Congo where he served the Lord in several churches and received biblical training. He returned to Bangui in 1996 and has been leading the Spiritual Awakening Mission Church since then. He became a Pastor in 1996 and an Evangelist in 1998. He also serves GOD as a prophet, and interprets dreams and visions revealed by the Lord. He is hosting three programmes, respectively, at the national television, the national radio station, and a private radio station (“La Voix de l’Evangile” – “The Voice of the Gospel”) in the Central African Republic to spread the Word of GOD, exhort people and provide them with advice related to our daily lives. His target groups are those who are seeking to know GOD or are looking for answers to their questions. He is married with seven children, and lives in Bangui.

Suzie N. answered GOD’s call in Bangui in 2003 and was later on baptised. In 2006, she joined the Church of the Spiritual Awakening Mission in Bangui. After JESUS became her Lord and Savior, GOD began to give her specific messages about His plans for her life. She holds a Master in Information and Communication from Jean-Moulin Lyon III University and an Associate Degree in Applied Foreign Languages from Lumière Lyon II University, in Lyon, France. She was also trained in writing and communication skills at New York University and filmmaking and film producing (Dov S-S Simens) in New York, USA. She is using her skills to serve the Lord. She is married and is based in New York.
