About the Author

Mistie House is the Christian author and illustrator of the children's book The Father's Princess: The Story of the White Daisy. Mistie is also a women’s Bible study group leader and teacher. She is passionate about helping lead women, children, and married couples towards a more intimate and personal relationship with God the Father. Her greatest desire and heart’s ministry is to proclaim the good news: that there is One who is able to bind up the brokenhearted, set captives free, and release from darkness the prisoners as in Isaiah 61. Mistie longs to help others discover true identity, destiny, and freedom in Christ, and for many to experience the Lord’s favor and choice blessings. She wishes to help guide the Way for many to meet Him, walk in His goodness, and blossom into who He has created them to be in His Kingdom. Outside of ministry, Mistie is a creative bundle of joy. She loves spending time laughing and socializing with family and friends, exploring new destinations with her husband, and camping with their children. She enjoys creating beautiful art and décor in her home, marveling at sunsets on long walks, celebrating holidays and the changing seasons, and having quiet time with the Lord. She lives in Amarillo, TX with her amazing husband Chris, and is a mother of two precious daughters, her little buttercup and her shining jewel.
