Prayer Closet

About the Book
I wish I could claim that I have a traditional prayer closet. Most often, it is my favorite taupe chair that allows me to watch the seasons change as I kneel. My prayer closet travels with me as words are copied from the wallpaper that Jesus hangs in my mind. There are also the piles of notes from Holy Spirit scribble written in pews and my journal pages. This is the starter kit for a prayer closet.
These poems span almost two decades of my life while I recovered from a debilitating illness. These words speak to my restoration and salvation journey as I have walked and prayed to the Lord for healing. Some of the poems are in remembrance of loved ones gone by. Others are for individuals that have left the greatest imprint on my life. I am moved to write poetry that will leave an imprint and bless their souls.
