Out of the Valley I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten. – Joel 2:25 If any of you are like me, you have a period in your life that wasn’t easy. Whether it was your fault or accidental circumstances, there might have been a time when you felt as though “you were walking through the valley” (Psalm 23). These dark valleys in life can make us lose our way, they can make us bitter, and they can cause us to lose our faith. Don’t let this happen to you! Come to Jesus and He will help you find your way out, into a life abundant (John 10:10). Letting Jesus into your heart and into these moments of despair, can change your life. You can learn to lean on Him. You can learn that you don’t have to go through anything alone. You can learn that “all things work together for the good to those who love God” (Romans 8:28). Now, when I look back on my dark times, I know that physically, I’m not able to get those years back, but through Jesus, they can mean something completely different. I know it was Him that brought me out of my dark valley and into the light!

They contain the crys to God and praises of God from someone who ask that this world be patient, because God hasn't finished with me yet!
About the Author
I have been writing daily emails to friends and family for a few years now. It started out as just a daily thought I have and wanted to share. It was kind of like my journal that I decided to share with those closest to me. It started to grow through people forwarding them to others and eventually I had people I don't really know asking to be added to my daily list. I don't claim to know much, just what I've learned from the lessons of my life, and some I've had to learn the hard way. I just assume others can learn from my mistakes and hopefully not have to have the bumps and bruises that I did. Studying God's Word has not only helped me grow a relationship with Christ, it has become a passion. I love opening this precious gift and learning something new everyday. I just hope others are as blessed as I have been. I am from Little Rock, Arkansas and I have lived in this state my whole life. I grew up in a small town, Beebe, but moved back to Little Rock as an adult. I met my husband, Steve, at church and we have a 3 month old daughter, Abigail Grace. I have been a member of Immanuel Baptist Church for 17 years, and love my church. I am involved in the music ministry there and get much of my spiritual nutrition from His message through song. I can't imagine how anyone can't believe in God when they hear a beautiful melody played or look at their child and see them smile.
