Romans 12:1-2 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. If you just want to go day-to-day, living your life according to the world standards, taking life as it comes, this book is not for you. However, if you desire to have the fullness our heavenly Father intended for you to have, and desire to be blessed life, you must gain revelation knowledge on how to see what He sees and conform to His ways. This book is for you. Most of the time, we settle for less than what was purposed for us to have. We do this mostly out of ignorance of who we are and those we are involved with. In order to protect what we have and are called to do, we must take an active role in developing in the area of discernment. If we are not aware of the deception of the enemy, we will end up fighting long and hard battles that could have been prevented from the start. The Word of God says that he (the enemy) will come in seeking (to go in search of, to look for, among other definitions) and will plan an attack on anything we attempt to accomplish for our life with God. The good news is that discernment is a very dangerous weapon when we seek and become more aware of how to develop it and then how to use it. Why would God not increase your ability to "fight the good fight of faith" (1Timothy 6:12; 2Timothy 4:7?) He equips all of us so that we are able to see and know who and what we are fighting. It would be kind of pointless for you and me to try and stand up against this world's system without having this tool of knowledge. We would not be able to recognize the deception of the enemy or even know who the enemy is. This is the reason and purpose for this ability in the first place. Make the decision to ask for and increase of discernment right now. Things you never thought were hindrance before will now become clear. Being clear is sound judgment. Throwing caution to the wind is just plain foolish and can be devastating.

Solomon states in Proverbs 23:23, Buy the truth, and do not sell it. Also wisdom and instruction and understanding… Proverbs 19:8 says, He who gets wisdom loves his soul; He who keeps understanding will find good. In The Dividing Line; The difference between Discernment and Deception, it is my desire to give everyone an understanding of the importance of discernment, and deception. Discernment is very critical to the way we make choices. As soon as we get up in the morning, we are making decisions; it is important to make these decisions wisely. We can choose to start our day by seeking the Lord or take the day for granted and chance the consequences. This is the same with the other areas of our lives and those we have to make decisions for. Why not be more thought-provocative when doing so? It may be the difference between victory and defeat. I hope that all who read The Dividing Line; The Difference between Discernment and Deception will come to a place of new revelation and allow it to change their unwanted and unwise situations.

Born in Ohio and raised in Missouri, Sherrie Knight became a believer in 1977 at the age of nine. It wasn’t until 2002 that she fully accepted the calling that God had on her life. She is a full time minister, has 3 children and 3 grand-children.
