About the Book
The story starts during happy times, with visits to Atlanta, birthday parties, and a collection of cars. In the fall, there is a sad turn of events when Aunt Bonnie dies and goes to heaven. Will is left to work out his grief and comes to a “smile across his heart” as he remembers his teaching and thinks of what Aunt Bonnie may be doing in her new home.
About the Author
Writing children's books has always been author Anita Cannon’s passion. Despite other writing adventures, she has wanted to reach out to children through books. The time is now.
Anita’s sister Bonnie died of SADS (Sudden Arrhythmic Death Syndrome), and a portion of the proceeds from each book will go to SADS for research. Anita’s second purpose is to provide a Christian witness that there is life after death if we believe and accept Jesus as our Saviour. She hopes that this story of love and loss will bring comfort to all who have lost a loved one .
She lives in Savannah, Georgia. She is the mother of two and grandmother of five. She continues to work as a registered nurse and is active at White Bluff United Methodist Church.
