Psalm 70 1 Make haste, O God, to deliver me! O Lord, make haste to help me! 2 Let them be put to shame and confusion who seek my life! Let them be turned back and brought to dishonor who desire my hurt! 3 Let them turn back because of their shame who say, "Aha, Aha!" 4 May all who seek you rejoice and be glad in you! May those who love your salvation say evermore, "God is great!" 5 But I am poor and needy; hasten to me, O God! You are my help and my deliverer; O Lord, do not delay! Panic Button Help, Lord! This crisis blindsided me. I had no idea that I would be caught in such a dangerous situation. Why are these people so hostile? I don’t know what to do. I need Your help now, God. You said You would always be with me, so stand by me. You said You would tell me what to say when I faced an enemy, so give me the words I need. Give me the ability to escape the people who want to destroy me. Lord, I am frightened and confused, but I trust You to get me through this experience. I need You to rescue me, now. Please do not delay. By Your power, I will push through. Then I will gladly tell my brothers and sisters how my awesome God rescued me. Together we will praise You saying, “God, You are great.”

About the Author
Lynnda Ell writes about her walk with God and the power of biblical prayer. Her career path has led through the professions of direct sales, accounting, electrical engineering and, now, freelance writing. She wrote Changing Me, Change the World and Words of Power, Echoes of Praise. She contributed to Heavenly Humor for a Cat Lover's Soul and Love is a Verb Devotionals. She and her 93 year-old Mother share a home in Texas. She has three married daughters with five (wonderful!) grandchildren.
