About the Author
Barbara O’Reilly is an award-winning writer with more than 30 years of professional communications experience. As an active Catholic laywoman, she has served in many church ministries, including lectoring. She has lectored since 1973, including 13 years at St. Patrick’s Cathedral, New York City. She also served in parish healing groups for more than 25 years. She participated in the two-year courses given by the Archdiocese of New York for Spiritual Development, and the School of Healing in the Diocese of Trenton, N.J.
She graduated from the College of Mount Saint Vincent with a BA in History and English; from Penn State University with an MA in Journalism; and from CUNY School of Law.
Ms. O’Reilly worked for the Eye-Bank for Sight Restoration, as manager of its public education program; CBS News; AT&T; and several newspapers. As a freelancer, she authored articles that appeared in many publications, and she also wrote for Avon Products and J.C. Penney, and others. She lives in New Jersey.
