About the Book
Bobby was finally old enough to read. One Sunday morning before church Bobby’s parents took him to the church book store to buy his very first Bible.
Bobby could not wait to go to class and show all the boys his new Bible. He could not wait to learn about Jesus.
His Sunday school teacher, Mr. Johnson, was happy to see Bobby’s new Bible; he even let Bobby start the class off by reading from the book of Romans.
Mr. Johnson’s Bible lesson was all about salvation, and he even showed all the boys how they could be 100 percent sure they would go to heaven when they die. Bobby asked a lot of questions, and Mr. Johnson was very good at answering them. He even led the class in the sinner’s prayer. That was the day we all asked Jesus to forgive us of our sin and to be our personal Savior. And now we have two birthdays: the day we were born and the day we got salvation. That was My Salvation Birthday.
