About the Book
The purpose of this book to
- give a Christian a working understanding of the overview of the minor prophets;
- show how each part of the book is related to the other parts;
- help in handling hard to understand verses in the larger context of the book in which they are found;
- see the proper emphasis of each point in the book;
- keep the study balanced, without overemphasizing or minimizing any one point;
- be a reference tool.
A Survey of the Bible’s Minor Prophets is organized in outline form, for quick locating of desired information. It includes historical and cultural background gleaned from Bible dictionaries and encyclopedias. This guide seeks to lay an adequate foundation for detailed studies and passage exegesis and to present the actual text of Scripture without becoming a verse by verse commentary. Also included are tables to help aid in your study of these minor prophets.
About the Author
Randall Biehl received his training at Southland Bible Institute. The Lord led him to Marietta, Ohio, where he pastored the Bethel Lighthouse Church and the Grace Baptist Church, and also served as administrator of Devola Christian School. Randall served at Southland as a teacher, in extension classes, and as dean of students and dean of men.
