Grief is something we never “get over.” Either we let it take us down the road to despair and depression, feeling as if there is no hope, or we come to a place where we have to accept the loss, and by accepting the fact that we can’t change what happened. We cannot go back. So, we learn anew every morning, that grief must be dealt with again, today, moment by moment.

Death teaches we are not in control. It is a helpless feeling unless we are trusting in God. Sometimes we are frustrated because we want the controls. We want to figure out the whys and hows, yet the Lord has not given us any answers to these questions. We become discouraged - only to haul ourselves up and believe in God's promises.
This is a book about the sorrow and loss of losing a child. One can peer inside the soul of a mother whose heart has been shattered as she gives insight into her daily thoughts and struggles in grief. Hope in Jesus and life everlasting can be found in the pages of this book. It is heartbreaking, yet encouraging and helpful for others experiencing loss of any kind.
About the Author
After experiencing the tragic loss of her 22 year old son and only child, Janet Lindsey struggled through shock, disbelief, hopelessness, and profound grief. This is a mom's journey of absolute reliance on God to get through each day. Janet uses her grief and shares her faith in order to offer hope to others. Janet has a bookkeeping/accounting home business in Maryville, Tennessee where she lives with her husband of 26 years, Ed.
