The Gospel According to St. Matthew discloses the fourth testament generation [an age] which began with the mortal/immortal sonship position of Jesus Christ. The lineage of Jesus as the Son of man was traced back to David the son of Abraham; but thereafter, the Son of God position was identified by Jesus through the Messianic message of the Christ or the Messias.
Human law practices based on the mortal nature of these former covenant generations [descent] were to be self-seen and set aside through the divine law practice found in the immortal nature of our Lord, and of his Christ as revealed in the generation [an age] of Jesus Christ. In gospel prophecy of this generation [an age] the angel of the Lord refers to the Messianic message as it narrates Jesus’ immortal life-line position throughout his mortal time-line position in the world. The narration, which begins with Jesus’ mortal birth as the Son of man, records his human experience where his divine manifestation of soul was seen to be in likeness to the Son of God in spiritual expression of the Christ. This expressed image of soul qualified Jesus’ immortal, thinking, knowing, and exemplifying lifetime positions relative to God.
Through the pronominal language of soul Jesus conveyed the immortality of his words: “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: teaching them to observe all things
Scriptural and gospel translation of angel as a messenger testifies to the visionary prophecy of testament words. In scriptural prophecy the Lord is translated as sovereign, i.e. controller (human or divine). In gospel narrations, this term translates as supreme in authority, i.e. (as noun) controller. When the terms angel and Lord are combined as the angel of the Lord, they convey an immortal message in mortal words: “there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament.” These prophetic words reveal the Messiah or Christ to the fourth covenant generation [an age].
