Where Godly Men Walked reveals examples of real-life characters of every generation. Life experiences and opportunities come to all, and God expects every man to make the right choices in life that will ultimately bring them into His eternal presence.
About the Author
Willie Johnson was born July 23, 1952, in Laurinburg, North Carolina, to John and Lucy Johnson. He is the eighth of fifteen children. Willie received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior in the summer of 1972, after being strung out on drugs. After committing his life to Jesus, he became very active in the ministry. As a psalmist and lover of music, he played for various groups and choirs.
In 1986, he received the call of God to ministry. In 1989, he was ordained as an assistant pastor at the place where he worshiped; after a few years, he became the senior pastor. He was the senior pastor over two churches for more than nine years in New Haven, Connecticut.
Currently, he enjoys what has always been his heart’s desire: writing, playing and recording music and singing for the Lord. He is the senior pastor of Restoration Life Church in Bessemer City, North Carolina. He also writes books that fill the world with the Word of God. He loves God for giving him the privilege of serving.
