About the Book
Weathering the Storms is based on my prayer journals and follows my family through our darkest times. I want to express my pain, my doubts, my anger at God, and all of the emotions that grief brings, because I feel it may help someone else going through a crisis. People told me that my strength and my faith inspired them, especially the younger people, so I want to share my experience to help others know the real emotions I was feeling and how God brought me through it all. I believe that you are only as strong as your faith, and even with the strongest of faith Satan can weaken you when you are vulnerable.
If you had told me two years ago that Satan could shake my faith the way he has very recently, I would have said you are crazy. Weathering the Storms is for those who are saved and know that they are, I hope to show that even we can have moments of weakness and lash out at God—He understands what you are going through. But it is still wonderful to know that even when we disappoint him, he is always ready to forgive.
If you are lost and don't know the God that I know, let me share my faith with you and show you where to find hope and joy again. Being a Christian doesn't mean we won't go through storms—it means we don't go through them alone.
