I was in the doctor’s examining room and had removed my shirt. The doctor and the nurse were behind me. The doctor gave me the shot. There was a short period of silence filled with the suspense of “will the shot work.”
I then clearly heard the doctor say,
“JACK, IT IS NOT WORKING; THERE IS NOTHING MORE I CAN DO FOR YOU.”
I clearly felt like I had received a death sentence in bold, uppercased, and italic print. My mind was in complete turmoil, and I had to face the reality that my life was over.
In a daze, I put my shirt on and left the doctor’s office. I went out the door and stood at the top of the steps for a few moments. As I was trying to collect my thoughts, I felt a strong compulsion to look up. The moment that I looked up, I felt myself starting to rise into the air. I smiled and brief feeling of relief that I seemed to be going in the right direction up not down!
I also was aware that the Jack rising into the sky was not my physical body. My spirit, my soul, and my mind were rising into the sky. I sensed that my physical body was left on earth.
I rose into the sky at a rapid rate. After a few moments, I had reached my destination at 20,000 feet, 1,000 miles, or 200 million miles. Exactly how high I arose is immaterial.
Immediately after I quit rising, I was completely overwhelmed with wonderful and powerful feelings of Joy, Love, Peace, Fulfillment, Contentment, and Elation. The feelings were so strong and so powerful and felt so right and good that I instantly recognized that the only place that I could possibly be was in “HEAVEN.”

The dreams allowed Jack to personally experience what waits for him and others at the end of their journey of faith. About the Author
Jack and his family live in Northern California. He and Barbara have been married for fifty years and have three sons and four precious grandchildren. At age seventy-one, Jack is still actively self- employed. His free time is spent enjoying life, kids, grandkids, and his Christian faith.
