God used the praise that they gave to Him as a weapon against their enemy. God does the same thing now as He did then. As we worship, God sets up ambushes for Satan. I imagine it this way. As we sing, God stirs with a desire to defeat Satan. God comes to Satan and says “See what my kids are saying about Me. See how much they praise Me. You are done for!” At this point I can see Him knocking Satan out with a mighty uppercut that sends him through the roof! Our praise causes God to come down and knock Satan around and then He tells us that we did a great job beating up on Satan! Imagine that every time you worship, God is getting in a few more punches and defeating the works that Satan has attempted to put in place. If this doesn’t make you want to worship more, I don’t know what will! Sing praise to the Lord for He will destroy the enemy on your behalf! You are His weapon! You are a mighty weapon of God!

About the Book
Over the past few years, I have become disillusioned with a “9-to-5” style of Christianity. I have been pressing into God to find out more. There has to be more to the Christian life than simply showing up to your local church on Sundays for forty-five minutes! As I have talked to God about this, He told me that it has a lot to do with the fact that most Christians have forgotten who they are. So I set out on a mission to rediscover what the Christian identity was.
