Christian beliefs are not just facts to know, they mean nothing for the enhancement of life
if they are not lived day by day. In other words the Bible makes such an impact on a
person's life that when we act on it, we prove that it is "truth." This book is an illustration of this fact, it is lived and told in a fashion that draws others to our living God and the difference He makes.
I believe it is instinctive to want a sense of God in our world. We want a sense of God in our
very own world. The Bible makes it plain that we all have an invitation to come into God's presence. One of the names He gives us for Himself is "Emanuel" which litterly means "God with us!" This is the challenge life holds out to us!
Our many questions are proof of our own personal pursuit for intimate contact with a personal God. Although His presence begins with the spiritual benefits, much can be said for the physical help His presence adds to life. Many are the amazing experiences that cannot be explained without God. Any doctor will tell you the benefits of an inward peace or rest in the process of healing. Ask any psychologist and he will tell you the healthy wholesomeness of wonder and joy that are totally spiritual. These are truly the rewards I found as a seeker, I found a very personal God. You will too, He promises that all who seek Him will find Him.
How do we find our way? The world often offers an evasive tactic; this can be done honestly and in the name of God. Nevertheless, many good intentions only enforce and affirm to us that our pursuit is indeed very personal; God deals with each one individually!
God's presence is His most valuable present! We can be life-long learners of this wonderful
subject.

About the Book
I am writing to people who do not know we can have a very personal relationship with the living creator, God. He tells us that He wants us to know Him, know His name, experience His presence moment by moment. He wants to prove that He exists in your day-to-day life. My challenge is the same challenge God has offered from the very beginning, the God that is with us, Emanuel. I have taken my faith, which is invisible and intangible, and made it solid and visible so that it is easy to understand. It is extremely practical, no-nonsense, and truth in action.

Dolores was married to Larry Lewis of Big Spring, Texas. She was the mother of three boys, Gregg, Chris, and Dennis. She is the grandmother of Ali and Alec, who live in Dallas, Texas. Her greatest joy is observing these two teenagers.
