About the Book
A warm hello to all! Come on in and sit a spell. Are you thirsty--hungry? We have living water, the milk of the word, veggies, meat, and a delightful array of treats. Enjoy all the savory dishes for there’s something here for everyone. Th ere are poems to fi ll the hungriest of souls and some to satisfy even the most discerning tastes.
Before you eat, please permit me to ask God’s blessings upon the “food” and to bless and nourish you as only HE can do. May we thank Him for all His love and care, (physically and spiritually). As we feast on more assorted stories found in God’s Word, we’ll also savor the experiences of those who’ve shared our world, and those who have touched me and mine personally. Until then, dive in, while your spirits are good and hot! Bon Appetite!

About the Author
My name is Delores J. Howard. I live in Franklin, Ohio, where I went to high school. This is also where I met my husband, Hugh. We were high-school sweethearts and married shortly after graduation.
When Hugh and I were in our twenties, we became Christians. In time, two different ministers advised him to go to the school of preaching in Lubbock, Texas. We did just that! We had our two young sons in tow, and off we went to an unknown land and future. While there, God blessed us with a beautiful baby girl.
We stayed an extra six months for stateside missionary training, and once completed, we moved to a very small church in Salyersville, Kentucky, to begin our ministry. We’ve lived in Kentucky, Iowa, Michigan, and Ohio. Family issues took us out of the ministry, but it did not hamper our love or devotion to our Lord.
God gave me the gift of poetry and I honor HIM with it. I have Bible verses under each title to support the integrity of every poem.
The poems are suitable for use in a variety of situations and/or ministries. God is honored and praised in every poem in some way. He is worthy. He is loved.
