Day One For God So Loved the World According to a report by Forrester Research, there were over one billion PC's in use world wide by the end of 2008, with projections of two billion in use by 2015. So right now, we're at about 1.5 billion, give or take a few million. The Number One topic for all Google searches on January 9., 2012 was John 3:16. Aha! God is still in control....of people, events, and His Word. God's Word will never return to Him void and empty, says Isaiah 55:11. If God says it, it will happen! For God loved the world so much that He gave His one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:16 NLT Why were millions upon millions of people looking up John 3:16 on their computers on Monday, January 9, 2012? Because there was one person, one football player who had written John 3:16 under each of his eyes, and that was Tim Tebow, who then played for the Denver Broncos, as their quarterback. He had just won an extraordinary game in the NFL playoffs, completing a long pass for a touchdown in overtime. Here's another miracle--I never look to see what the top Google Trends are. Believe me, that would not be on my To Do List. It was a quirk of the computer, as I like to say, but there it was, John 3:16. I saw it with my own eyeballs! You have Eternal Life. You will spend Eternity in Heaven. It is a promise from God, and God never breaks a promise! Maybe you knew about Jesus before you read this, or maybe you were one of the searchers on Google that day. You know what, it doesn't make any difference. God loves you, and He created You to be His child. Here's another great Bible verse: "How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!" 1 John 3:1. Something Sister, you are God's child, His daughter. God invites you into His Family, and if you RSVP with "Yes", your life will be changed forever. Jesus talks about Himself in the Gospel of John, Chapter ten, "I tell you the truth. I am the gate for the sheep...whoever enters through Me will be saved....I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. PRAYER: I need You so much in my life, Dear Jesus. In fact, I desperately need a Shepherd who will care for me and keep me on the right path for my life. Day by day, You have opened Your arms to welcome me, and often, I have walked right past You, thinking that I had all the answers I needed for life, but I do not have life to "the full". I am missing out on Your blessings. Just like sheep, I am stubborn. Today I walk through the Gate and enter Your Sheepfold, with a heart of total repentance and surrender. Please forgive my stubbornness and all of my selfishness. It is with deep joy and thankfulness that I life up my fact to You, knowing I am Your precious daughter, whom You love very much.
