America is on the verge of collapse and total destruction. This is a fact ignored by the majority of Americans and denied by millions more. However, ignorance and denial do not alter the truth. Believing that such a great nation as America could indeed be on its deathbed is as hard to accept as it was for people to accept the fact that the earth is a sphere and that invisible, microscopic organisms can cause disease and death. President Lincoln correctly observed that “A house divided cannot stand.” America at that time was divided over such issues as states’ rights and slavery. Today, many more issues divide America; Racial and religious hatred still threaten to tear the very fabric of our society. Immigration, gay rights, gun control, and economic woes are all creating major rifts among our people. In order for America to survive the many threats that seek to divide us, great leadership is called for. Our nation was fortunate that men of genius, integrity, common sense and an awareness of the existence of a higher power were assembled to lay the foundation of our government. Sadly, what was begun by great minds and unselfish individuals is now being run by idiots who have about as much concern for the welfare of fellow Americans as a fur trapper in the 18th century had for the beaver population. America has been able to survive as a nation for so long because of the wise principles incorporated into our Constitution and the checks and balances of power that exist in our three branches of government. How long can a nation or society continue to exist when the Constitution upon which it was founded is ignored and by-passed by executive order? How long will the righteous God whose input and influence made our nation possible stand by and allow His Word and name to be ignored, and disregarded? MORE COMMON SENSE revisits the founding of America and examines the Godly principles upon which she was founded. The reader will learn the truth about the real threats that are poised to destroy our great nation. In addition, MORE COMMON SENSE describes real and practical solutions to many of the problems that plague America. Author Ken English uses humorous, real-life stories to illustrate the serious predicament that America is in today and skillfully weaves a tapestry that emerges as a banner of patriotic principles that must be re-established in our government if America is to survive.

About the Book
America is no longer the “Home of the Brave and Land of the Free.” Americans are being stripped of our blood-bought rights and freedoms by greedy and incompetent politicians. Excessive taxes are reducing average citizens to government slaves. Gross mismanagement of our tax dollars and senseless borrowing from other countries are bankrupting America. An effort to redistribute wealth has instead resulted in a distribution of poverty. There are two houses that need attention in America today. One is the White House. The other is “Our House,” the American home. By correcting the problems that emanate from these houses, we will solve a multitude of problems. This book offers realistic and Common—Sense solutions for many of the evils that threaten to destroy America. These solutions are presented using humorous stories from the Author’s past and well-researched statistics on education, welfare, and government policy.

About the Author
KEN ENGLISH is a 1975 graduate of Troy University and well-known sculptor, teacher, and coach. Ken and his wife, Patsy, reside at the Big Oak Ranch near Elba, Alabama. They have two grown children, Jennifer and Kyle, and six grandchildren, Ayden, Skye, and Laken English; Davin, Dylan, and Daxton McCoy. Ken is retired from coaching and now spends his time working with cows, sculpting, writing, and playing with grandchildren.
