Revive! The Oracles of God

Throughout the Bible history making events and mind defying acts of GOD are done, when men step out to honor GOD, defend His name and/or do His will, but whether these are inspired by a divine burden, or a message from Him indirectly (through His word; the Holy Bible) or an answer to His direct calling, man has always being part of every work that the LORD had done on earth. From putting together the complete message of salvation of GOD (the Holy Bible), to raising the people of GOD, to the deliverance of a nation from bondage, to the parting of the red sea, to the conquering of the promise land, to the conception and the birth of the MESSIAH JESUS CHRIST. JESUS the only begotten Son of GOD had to come down as a man to show the way, He died as a man and rose as a man. In Hebrews 11:21. By faith Jacob, when he was a dying, blessed both the sons of Joseph; and worshiped, leaning upon the top of his staff. Jacob believed GOD against all odds, to bring to pass the promise of GOD unto Abraham. The word of GOD whether written or the incarnate word (Christ Jesus) is the source of all godly message, has answer to all of man questions about GOD or life and stirs up godly burdens to set us apart for Himself. As it is written in John 17:17. Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. The word of GOD is the infallible source of godly messages, answer and burdens. This is how it has been throughout all the ages. So since the Bible is the complete, inerrant word of GOD, it is what an oracle should be. Every event in history has been instituted by the word of GOD and everything that will ever be, have been declared by GOD and all these are recorded in scriptures. Thus, the Bible is the complete message of salvation in the present and till the end of the age. When the LORD is wrath and refuses to speak to His people or answer their prayer because of their sin, all they needed to do was to return to His word. Deuteronomy 4:29-31. But if from thence thou shalt seek the LORD thy GOD, thou shalt find Him, if thou seek Him with all thy heart and with all thy soul. 30. When thou art in tribulation, and all these things are come upon thee, even in the later days, if thou turn to the LORD thy GOD, and shalt be obedient unto His voice; 31. (For the LORD thy GOD is a merciful GOD;) HE will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which he sware unto them. Because in it we see the complete message of salvation, find all the answers and burdens to revive our relationship with Him. Then they will begin to experience again all His greatness, power, glory, victory and majesty. The word of GOD will convict you and set you apart ( sanctify you) and put you in the right path with Him, when you hearken to Him in obedience and believe Him (faith). Whenever a child of GOD or His children realize their shortcomings is, having received knowledge in righteousness, ( by searching the scripture) prayer naturally follows (flows) the Bible says, 2 chronicles 7:14. If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; the will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. Prayer is communion with GOD, it is available to every believer, and the LORD has promised that when we pray he will answer, in Psalm 50:14-15. Offer unto GOD thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High: 15. And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me. The word of GOD says in Jeremiah 33:3. Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not. In John 14:14. If ye shall ask anything in my name, I will do it. These are examples of promises that the LORD GOD has made regarding prayer and those that took Him to task, by actually praying hath all experienced the faithfulness of GOD throughout all generation to the present time. For example Isaac prayed in Genesis 25:21. And Isaac entreated the LORD for his wife, because she was barren: and the LORD was entreated of him, and Rebecca his wife conceived. And the Bible says he was entreated of GOD. Having said that prayer is nothing short of an oracle, when we pray GOD send an answer, a message or gives us a burden, that will directly meet or even surpass our petition and request, this is the second oracle that needs revival, because of prayerlessness in this our dispensation, the enemy has encroached into the church and messed us all up. The third oracle that needs revival is you, and I will call it selfless-service, (absolute worship). Whether it is Anna or Simeon in Luke 2:25-38. And, behold, there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon; and the same man was just and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel: and the Holy Ghost was upon him. 26. And it was revealed unto him by the Holy Ghost, that he should not see death, before he had seen the LORD’s Christ. 27. And he came by the Spirit into the temple: and when the parents brought in the child JESUS, to do for him after the custom of the law, 28. Then took he him up in his arms, and blessed GOD, and said, 29. LORD, now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace, according to thy word: 30. For mine eyes have seen thy salvation, 31. Which thou hast prepared before the face of all people; 32. A light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of thy people Israel. 33. And Joseph and his mother marveled at those things which were spoken of Him. 34. And Simeon blessed them, and said unto Mary His mother, Behold, this child is set for the fall and rising again of many in Israel; and for a sign which shall be spoken against; 35. (Yea, a sword shall pierce through thy own soul also,) that the thought of many hearts may be revealed. 36. And there was one Anna, a prophetess, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Aser: she was of a great age, and had lived with a husband seven years from her virginity; 37. And she was a widow of about fourscore and four years, which departed not from the temple, but served GOD with fasting and prayers night and day.38. and she coming in that instant gave thanks likewise unto the LORD, and spake of Him to all them that looked for redemption in Jerusalem. Or Jabez I 1chronicles 4:9-10. And Jabez was more honorable than his brethren: and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, Because I bare him with sorrow. 10. And Jabez called on the GOD of Israel, oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And GOD granted him that which he requested. Or Moses, David ro Joshua etc. we all have a duty to lift high the name of our LORD and Savior JESUS, defend and take the gospel to you every corner of the universe and to push back the enemy from our land (domain) that he has encroached. Are you a minister of GOD in your church or a worker, do you have a title or designation or you are just an ordinary member, there is a divine purpose for you, that will make your name to be called out in Heaven, something more personal that the LORD has put in you that He is calling out for. It is readily at your disposal, if only you will revive the oracle of the word, and the oracle of prayer and the oracle of selfless-service. There is no limit to what you can accomplish for our LORD JESSU Christ and we can be wiser than the ancient and have understanding more than our teachers. Psalm 119:99-100. I have more understanding than all my teachers: for thy testimonies are my meditation. 100. I understand more than the ancients, because I keep thy precepts.
