We live in a world of good intentions for our families. However, far too often our busy schedules pull us away from the true essence of a loving family. It’s not about the abundance of material things we acquire for our families. It’s not about perfection…for all families have trivial trials daily and at times enormous hardships. Striving for daily quality time in family communion of praying, playing, talking, and working together builds strong Christian families and a stronger society at large. As Mother Teresa of Calcutta, India stated; “If you want World Peace, go home and love your family”.

About the Book
Our family celebrates God every day, from the time we wake up until the time we go to bed. In the morning, we read the Bible and praise God for all our blessings. During the day, we enjoy the beauty of nature given to us by God. In the evening, we think about every good moment, where we did the right thing, and then we think about the things that went wrong and ask God’s forgiveness. Our family’s faith carries us through each day.
Aiming at an elementary level of daily examinations of conscience, this illustrated children’s story seeks to support parents in the efforts to build strong Christian values in the families from their children’s earliest years. Through these words and illustrations, children may learn the importance of cheerfully striving to live out the greatest prayer in the Bible, the Lord’s Prayer (Matthew 6:9–13).
About the Author
Judy Francis is a former insurance manager with a Fortune 500 company who always dreamed of writing Christian children’s books as her encore career. She was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee, received her BA degree from Spelman College, and attended the Atlanta University School of Public Administration. She lives in the Leland, North Carolina.
