In September 1987, I met a bi-vocational preacher. At that time he was painting the outside of our apartment complex, and soon we became friends. One Thursday evening when he was visiting, he started talking about Jesus Christ. I told him, "Don't waste your and my time, I don't believe in religions, as matter of fact, I am not sure if I even believe in God." The preacher had the most wonderful smile on his face, which I have come to know, that only the Holy Spirit can put on person's face. Often in witnessing, all we need to say is just a few words and let the Holy Spirit do the rest. The very first Sunday after that incident, my wife got up early in the morning and got the girls ready to go out. I asked her what she was doing. In a very sweet innocent voice she said, "we are going to that preacher's church." I was okay with it, because I knew the preacher. Actually, as a Muslim I never had a chance to be exposed to any other religions but Islam. And whatever I heard about other religions was from Muslim leaders who claimed that other religions are corrupt; only Islam is true and is the best. I had also been taught that people from other religions corrupted their holy books and the Quran is the only non-corrupted holy book. This was strange to me, if Allah wrote all the holy books and gave it to the prophets, then how he could not protect all of them? He only protected the Quran from corruption.
When I got to the Church I was totally shocked and amazed by.......
