Discussion: Do we ever see Jesus’ humanity and His holiness in conflict? Give specific examples.
Do you ever feel like your humanity and holiness are in conflict? Yes, I realize that’s probably a rhetorical question, but is it of comfort to realize that not only do we feel our humanity and holiness in conflict, but that Jesus did too?
Or do you feel so sinful at times that it is hard to even allow yourself to be called holy? It is common to feel unworthy of being called holy or to fear a “holier than thou” attitude. What does Hebrews 2:11 say in response to this?
We are called to be holy just as He who called us is holy, but what does it mean for us to be holy?
Read 1 Peter 1:13 – 2:3 and list at least 5 descriptions or characteristics of holiness.

About the Book
Through this thirteen-week, small-group Bible study, we’ll discuss Jesus and His example of how to live as human and holy—set apart to live a holy life, with human nature, but not according to sinful nature.
