About the Book

The intent of this book is to spread the joy of the Lord to those who know Him—those who join in fellowship with others so that we can rejoice in peace, grace, rest, love, and knowledge of what God has done for us. We look forward to Heaven and seeing our loved ones again. We remember this world is not our home; we are just passing through. We join in fellowship with others to share the love of God with those in need and seeking the lost.

About the Author

For years I have been rhyming words. My mother encouraged me in my early teens to write poetry for the Lord. Through the years, I have written and lost many poems in the course of everyday life. Days were busy, with a growing household, my husband, myself, three sons, and one daughter. Over the years, the Lord has blessed us with ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren I shared some of my poems with my former pastor and my friends Walter and Charlene Hoard.

Walter suggested I search out my poetry, so I went all over the house on a mission. I found scrapes of paper, napkins, and notebooks with poetry written in them. I started to compile them and send them to Walter to read. We decided that he would make tracts out of them by adding Scriptures that fit the poems. I ask God to use me, at the age of seventy-two, to touch the lives of others with comfort and fill them with the great love that God has given me. God wakes me up early in the morning, from midnight until 5 a.m., to write for Him. I know it’s from Him because I am blessed when I read it. My desire is to serve God in whatever time He allows me.
