Has your dream, vision, or word from the Lord evaporated? Is it sitting on some shelf, covered with cobwebs? Has it been so long now that you have become discouraged and wonder if it was really God in the first place? If your answer is yes to any or all of those questions, I don’t think you’re rare. I believe many of us could easily testify to having similar feelings. Putting these words on the page fulfills one of my dreams and completes past prophecies over my life that have taken years to bring into being. This book is intended to give insight into your situation and help you get from Point A to B and to finally reach Point C, the culmination of your dream.

There must be millions of us holding onto a word, a dream, or a vision from the Lord that hasn’t come to pass. Maybe it was just something hidden in your heart that you believed was from God, and nothing seemed to come of it. Perhaps it was a prophecy spoken over an entire church body or over the shepherds of the ministry, and birthing it seemed impossible. It is my belief that Holy Spirit gives us dreams and ideas on a more frequent basis than we acknowledge. Sometimes they come to us at night and rather than write them down at the time, we go to sleep and forget them. I believe we can ask God to bring those dreams back to our remembrance. And for those we do remember, perhaps we wonder if we were supposed to have done something to “make it happen.” Not as in Abraham impatiently producing an Ishmael but, rather, in the context of a conditional dream, word, or vision. How many times have we questioned whether we prayed enough or fasted enough? Maybe we wonder if it was a lack of faith or if our imaginations just went amok. Well if you’re still waiting for your manifestation, this book should help you. Don’t turn loose now; hold onto your dream with both hands.

To get where we want to end up, let’s begin by studying a young man who had a word from the Lord that turned his life upside down. God gave Joseph a dream, yet he experienced opposition after opposition. He had every opportunity to quit believing, to turn from God, and to denounce everything he ever heard about God. I truly believe that as we study the life of this young man, we’ll be encouraged to keep the faith for the dream or word to stay alive in our hearts, even if it’s been a long time since it came to our heart’s door.

I can tell you this for sure. I received the directive to write this book many years ago. It was placed in my heart and never left my mind. My life was full of working a full-time job, being a wife, keeping a house, and leading many ministry outreaches and programs. My dream was thoroughly covered in dust and cobwebs. Some of my dreams still are.

As I begin to lay the foundation of this book by rehashing the story of this young man, don’t think there’s nothing new to be gleaned or nothing new to help you see your dream or word come to pass. Please follow closely, and we’ll unearth a nugget or two I believe will encourage you on your journey from Point A to Point C of your dream.
