Discouragement comes from lack of expectation. It is not possible to feel low, uninspired, or unmotivated when you have an expectation of God’s provision. Expectation fuel us and keeps us moving toward our goal as we await the physical manifestation. When the plan is seemingly falling apart, and you have no idea how to pull it all together, develop an attitude of expectation. An expectant attitude says “I don’t know how, but I expect that God has a plan and I am on it. I am confident that He has already provided.” Faith is the substance and evidence that every need is met. Expectation is the grantor that releases God’s best. If you do not expect Supernatural Provision, it will not be granted to you. There are a lot of people that believe God can. However, they do not believe that He will. Although they have faith that He can meet the need, they are discouraged because they do not have an expectant attitude. Eventually they lose faith. Expectation is not mere hope. It is the fuel that keeps hope burning. Expectation is faith on fire and is an absolute for Supernatural provision. We expect to get everything that we are entitled to. At the end of the pay period we expect to be compensated. When we purchase auto insurance, we expect to be covered in the event of an accident. We labored hard for our money, therefore we are entitled to, and should expect pay. We pay for our premium. Why shouldn’t we expect the coverage that we are entitled to? Jesus carried the cross. He labored hard and faithfully. He paid the price for every single one of your needs. Because of His blood you are entitled to every need met. Just as we expect to cash in on every other entitlement, we can expect to cash in on every need met. There is nothing wrong with having a sense of entitlement when it comes to the promises of God. You are a righteous heir. Heir to the world and everything in it. Expect God to keep His Word. Expect Him to favor you. Expect Him to answer your prayer request. Have a joyous expectation. Praise and thank Him as if you have already taken possession of that which you are entitled to; and you will.
