From My Heart to Yours

Did you know the words “Heart and Hearts” appear in The Bible (New International Version) over 700 times? Neither did I until it started coming up in my personal devotion time over and over again. I decided the LORD was trying to tell me something, so I prayed about it. I have kept a journal for years, so I suppose praying and writing has always gone hand in hand for me. Many of these prayers are personal, some have to do with what is going on in the world, and yet others are just conversations with God. He and I have grown closer through our daily quiet prayer time. The Lord also has given me the opportunity to pray with friends and family; be it over the phone, through e-mail, or in person. God is available anytime, anywhere. He loves to hear from His children. I am a prayer warrior: This is a battle I cannot fight alone. Join me in conversations with our Heavenly Father, Jesus, The Holy Spirit, Abba, and Lord …our dearest friend. Let’s pray for and with each other too. The eloquence of the words we say is not important; it’s what is in our hearts that matters. So join me in a word of prayer today.
