About the Book

The Spirit of Truth and Love is a Bible study of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd John. John is the author of these books, and he is “the disciple whom Jesus loved.” The Spirit of Truth and Love is written for individuals who are new to Bible study and individuals who would like a different experience dissecting Scripture. It was written as if the author was engaging in personal Bible study on her own and making you a part of her notes and thoughts.

This Bible study is a 12 day or more commitment. Each day should take approximately 30-60 minutes to complete. It is a Bible study that can also be done as a group.

About the Author

LaLoni Leffall has a passion for Bible study and discipling others to become followers of Jesus Christ. Her heart’s desire is that people are transformed into His image and empowered by their identity in Him. She brands herself as a transformational coach by allowing God to work through her to transform others to serve Him in every aspect of their lives. She wants to express Christ’s love through hope as stated in Romans 5:5, “And hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.”

She has a calling to read to and teach children to read. She said that she asked God why she had this “thing” for reading. His response to her heart was “if they can’t read, they can’t read my word.” As a result, she has made this one of her priorities in her mission to help people.

She currently serves in the Counseling Ministry at First Baptist Church Atlanta. She is also pursuing a Master of Arts in Human Services Counseling.
