In this book,"To Hear From God," are songs that tell of life's experiences. The first song tells us to give all the glory to God. The other songs speak of His love for us, our love for Him, as well as the joy, trust, and assurance of His presence at all times. Finally, it expresses the reward we will receive during this life's journey and in the end when we see God.

About the Book
If you like gospel songs, you will love these songs written with the text of scriptures directed by the Holy Spirit. Most were written at the author’s kitchen table. These songs encourage, uplift, and give hope. They remind us both of the love of God and of the gift of His son, Jesus. The songs are intended to express one’s personal relationship with God and challenge us to examine our walk with God.
About the Author
Barbara J. Eaton worked thirty-two years as a secretary. After retiring she decided to take piano lessons. She was brought up as a child singing in the church choir and had a love of music. Her parents could not afford a piano, nor could they afford lessons. It was a great challenge for her to learn to play the piano as an adult. She was taught as a child, “Nothing beats a try.” She tried—and she is now playing for her church school.
As a young woman, she dreamed of one day writing a book. She never dreamed it would be a book of songs. But in 2009, led by the Holy Spirit, she wrote her first song, “To Hear from God.” Having been brought up in the Deep South, she most enjoys traditional gospel music, even though some of her songs may vary.
