In the town of Froghop, there were three spunkiens—Godfry, Maggie, and Annie. I’m sure you have heard of them. They lived down the street at #208—the house with the bright, colored gate.
I have to tell you—their house was easy to spot. The place sort of popped in bubbles—red, orange, yellow, green, and what not. If you looked closely, you could sometimes see bubbles bouncing free, into the air from the chimney—all different colors—purple, pink, green—billowing higher than the tallest tree.

In the pretend land of Froghop live three little spunkiens—Godfry, Maggie, and Annie. While on their way to play, they are suddenly surprised by a furry, little creature, who literally falls into their lives. Naturally, they take him home, and there the adventure begins.
Children, ages four to six, will love this fun story, written in a delightful, rhyming style. The colorful, whimsical illustrations are sure to charm both parents and children alike.
About the Author
Born and raised in Nigeria, West Africa, Grammy Lyn (Lynette Haddock) enjoyed the antics of the many monkeys. Her experiences include having a pet monkey and being bitten by a monkey when she naively tried to help him peel his banana.
Grammy Lyn loves books, especially the classics. Her dad shared her passion for reading literature, as does her daughter. She hopes to spread this same passion to her grandchildren.
As an educator, Grammy Lyn has spent many years in the classroom, teaching elementary, junior high, and college students. She loves teaching and is always energized by the narratives of her students.
This book is dedicated to her three grandchildren—Gavin, Makenna, and Avery—as well as to all the other grandchildren of the world.
