What the dream
He is able!

How impossible
Circumstances
May seem
He is able!
He is able
To take any heart
And because of the cross
Make all things new!
He is able!
He is able to part the Red Sea
And see you safely and
Victoriously through!

He is able to take
The broken pieces
Of any life
And turn its pains
Into a masterful
Stained glass window
Where every crack
And every stain
Is filled with the
Stunning beauty
And radiant light
Of Jesus Christ!

To calm
Any storm
In any sea

To give us
Boldness,
Courage,
And strength
Like Shadrach,
Meshach and,
Abednego!
He is able!

To hear
Every whisper
And treat every tear
As an urgent prayer.

To stop the mouths of lions
In any lion’s den.

To give us
His most excellent
And precious spirit
To lead us in all our ways
In these most
Challenging days.

Heavenly wisdom
At any moment

Back to Christ again

The angelic
Cadence of triumph
That is heard
In heaven everywhere?
Can you hear it?
The glory of
The eternal
Song echoes

The heavenly chorus

Of gemstone studded wings

About the Book
Her second book of poetry, 365 Christ Centered Contemplative Poems: Exalting Jesus Christ Name Above All Names, is a Christ-centered daily devotional of poetry where readers are encouraged to triumphantly abide in the throne room of the King of Kings. The poet joyfully reminds each reader that every time we open the living Word of God, we are transported to the throne room of our Triune God. Take a journey with poet, Debbie Harris, as she encourages all believers to claim Jesus Christ as their source for victorious and joyous living.
About the Author
Debbie Harris holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Education, a Master of Performance Studies degree from Bob Jones University, and a Masters of Science degree from Texas A & M University at Commerce with a double emphasis in School Counseling and Community Counseling. She has also served as an Assistant Professor of Speech and Drama at Grand Rapids Baptist College and Seminary (now Cornerstone University) and as an Adjunct Professor of Drama at Dallas Baptist University. She is currently a School Counselor and has been a volunteer Chaplain at Parkland Hospital. She is a proud member of the Redbud Writer’s Guild. She is a regular contributor at Life Notes: The Café Blog. She has been featured as a Christ-centered poet in Sothern Writers Magazine and has written several articles for them. She has also been featured on numerous blogs. Her passion is to further the kingdom of the Savior through Christian poetry and exalt the name of Jesus Christ, name above all names. Her first book of poetry, Which Church Am I? is a compelling and thought-provoking poetry series challenging both seekers and believers to thoughtfully ponder the modern day church.
