The Widow’s Mite
This story is about a widow
A poor widow with two mite
She pleased the Lord
By doing what was right
Jesus watched the people
By the treasury where he sat
Some were contributing this
Others contributed that
He noticed that the rich
Was casting in a lot
Then along came a widow
That gave all that she got
He called his disciples
He told what the widow had given
She gave more than anyone
Casting in all of her living
