This book is a collection of devotions from women who have faced the ugly times in life. Who are not afraid to admit life is not easy. Yet, they tell of the peace they have received from Christ during their trials.

About the Author

Andrea is a wife, mother of three adult daughters (that all have Cystic Fibrosis), Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant, has her BS in Sociology, an Army War Veteran, and was a member of the elite Army Parachute Demonstration Team, the Golden Knights.

Andrea was raised in Iowa and has lived most of her life in North Carolina. She is an empty-nester with her husband, Phil, one dog-Daisy, and two cats Bubba and Franklin. Together they enjoy camping, riding motorcycles, running, Panther football, and enjoying the outdoors. She is currently recovering from Lyme disease after having been diagnosed in 2013. Through the rigors that she has endured on this journey of life her tremendous faith in Jesus Christ has sustained her.

For readers who are stressed out, they will be relieved that the book is reader friendly. it is made up of 39 brief and honest stories written by women who have experienced scary struggles and come through them with peace in their hearts. There are no two stories alike, I think that the reader of the first story will quickly become curious tol read them all, to their own personal benefit. What is the benefit? For me, it was thankfulness. Thankful that the goodness and faithfulness of God who helped me through my own desperate situation. I wish this book had been available then. Iit would have given me true examples of victory.
