I recall the day I was reflecting on ‘life’ and I heard God speak to my heart saying something like this….you are your children’s intercessor. Before then, I had made it a point of praying for my children on a regular basis but when God spoke to me, it totally changed my perspective on my role in their lives. Suddenly, I realised that God’s expectation from me to pray for them thereby holding me responsible for shaping their destinies with my prayers. I was accountable for their destinies! This radicalised my prayers for my children.
