The Gift of Life
The gift of life is a very special gift that only comes from God. This particular gift is called the light of men.
Light: Illumination, glow, beam, radiance
And the light shines in the darkness, John 1:5
Q. How do we bring the light to shine (or turn it on) and will it bring us out of dark places?
Picture yourself in a dark room and light a match (that match is the illumination in that room). Now picture yourself in a dark situation, or a position that you can’t see your way out of (Jesus in you, the Word in you, the God in you is the illumination in that situation or position – focus on that and you will see your way out). BELIEVE THIS
….follow the light (I just wanted to say that)
When we know who we are “In Christ” – we are the light of the world. Jesus was a gift to world – He left us as the gift to the world. When people see us they should see Jesus; they should see the light.
So let our light shine
We should be the light in any dark situation, give life to dead things, be the perfect problem solver, the right medicine, the up-lifter of souls, the great inventor, the perfect parent, the best friend, the great companion.
While I am in the world, I am the light of the world." John 9:5

About the Book
To Love Life is full of practical biblical life lessons teaching about issues that cover a wide range of topics such as love, hate, relationships, sorrow, money, children, politics, religion, sin, etc. Heartfelt spiritual soul food is needed to apply Christian principles to everyday living. It includes fun activities that provoke us to walk in love toward ourselves and others.
About the Author
Toni Joy studied through Kenneth Hagin School of Ministry (on-line classes), took classes with Evangel Christian Churches. She is involved in out-reach ministries and writes the weekly devotional “Faith to Love Life” that started in 2009. Toni is involved in Praise Center Church Ministries under the leadership of Pastor Curtis & Sonya Longstreet.
Pastor Sonya D. Longstreet is an ordained minister working alongside her husband as assistant pastor of Praise Center Church- Southfield MI. She writes as "My 2 Cents" in the weekly devotional with Toni Joy. She also host an Annual weekend “Women’s Retreat” which has been going strong for over 13 years.
