Who Stole Baby Jesus?

About the Book

The story concerns two young boys who are upset because the baby Jesus is missing from the nativity scene in the church’s yard. They go on a hunt for the baby Jesus, and the story ends happily.

The story reminds us that Jesus took time for children, and we should listen to their cries.

About the Author

I have enjoyed writing since I was in junior high and won an essay contest put on by the Perinton Society.

I wrote about the 150-year-old house my father had just bought, and I had fun gathering materials for the essay. I received a five-dollar check and put it away for safekeeping. The historical society wrote to me and asked me to please cash it.

I received a certificate from the Institute of Children's Literature in Redding Ridge, Connecticut, in December 1991 and have been writing short children's stories since then.
