The Curfew of the Stars When darkness paints the whole world black/ When dusk has fin'ly come,/ When trees are silhouetted specks,/ Against the sinking sun. That's when stars pull back their covers,/ And leap out from their beds!/ To dance among the fading lights,/ Of pink and blue and red! While nature lies in quiet sleep,/ They dance on through the night./ They twinkle brightly in the dark,/ This nighttime's only light. Soon morning light begins to creep,/ Their curfew's almost come./ For all the stars must go to bed,/ At rising of the sun.

Alana Gingrich is a Missions major at Penn View Bible Institute, where she continues to doodle her way through various lectures and classroom presentations. She enjoys art, photography, and writing. She lives in Penn’s Creek, Pennsylvania with her family and her dog, Frodo.
