The “Christian and The Culture”, is designed to help the people of God to rethink their lives in this current world. It is my conviction that we must stand out in the crowd and represent the Lord in every area of our lives. God’s children are under pressure to live holy lives. In this postmodern world, we struggle in many areas that bring a degree of frustration to our daily walk with the Lord. We always fight against the secular culture and the way it invades our lives with doubt, fear, and uncertainty.
In decades past, Christians could withstand this onslaught by just quoting a few Scripture passages and rejoicing. However, in this current climate, we are subjected to more intense battles and are under more intense pressure to stand. The words of the apostle Paul have a greater meaning than ever before.
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against Satan’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then. (Eph. 6:10–14 NIV)

About the Author
Bishop Eric A. Lambert Jr. received training and mentoring for his ministry from Pastor Benjamin Smith of Deliverance Evangelistic Church of Philadelphia, PA. Bishop Lambert lives out his conviction that the greatest commandment is to love the Lord with all of one’s heart; he challenges Christians to renew their passion for the Lord.
