After the last customer left, Farmer John turned out the lights and went into his house, tired, but satisfied from many long days of hard work.
“Silent night, Holy night, all is calm, all is bright…”
Tippany and a couple of other trees remained outside along the fence in the dark.
“Jesus?” she whispered, “Nobody seems to want me.”
“No room, only a manger of hay…”
“Jesus, if only someone would take this netting off so I could at least spread my branches for You! That’s all I ask Jesus.”
“My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.” Matt.26:39
“Jesus?” cried Tippany. But all she heard was the hush of the wind.
“Jesus I’m so alone. I wish my dad were here.”
[I too hung alone dear Tippany. My Father could not be with me either thought Jesus as He agonized with her.]

About the Book
These are such uncertain days for our children. There are stabbings and shootings in our schools. There are terrorist attacks and extremists who think nothing of murdering the young merely because they are of the Christian faith. Christian parents need encouragement as they equip their children to face these challenges.
I have written this book with a threefold purpose: as a Christmas story that approaches difficult topics for children, a parallel story of Christ’s suffering on our behalf, and a tool for parents to talk to their children about matters of faith.

About the Author
Elaine Adams is a mother of six and grandmother of eight. She lives in Caledon East, Ontario, and attends Caledon Hills Fellowship Baptist Church.
She has a love for God’s Word and a love for the Spiritual journey we all must take. It is her hope that you not only enjoy this book but that you also use it as an opportunity to discuss your child’s journey in developing his or her own faith in Jesus Christ. Her prayer for all who read this is that God will richly bless you.
Shannon Jabs is a lovely teenage girl who lives in Bolton, Ontario, and also attends Caledon Hills Fellowship Baptist Church. She has a ministry to her whole church by encouraging them through the pictures she draws.
