About the Book

Introduction to Healthy Living: Recipes for Life was inspired by Vegan Cuisine, a book Vivian published in 2014. Since that time, due to multiple illnesses, surgeries, hospitalizations, and near-death experiences in their family, Vivian and her husband Bob have extended their research. How could they develop healthier ways to eat and live? Health involves our mental/emotional status, exercise, nutrition, and rest. It also includes our spiritual wellbeing. As Vivian and Bob continue to grow in their personal Christian faith, they also (despite being in their 70’s) work six hours a week landscaping and managing a friend’s yard and home, and Vivian attends a Zumba class several times a week. In addition, they have altered their diet significantly and created new recipes. In this book, Vivian reviews the importance of faith, exercise, rest, and proper nutrition as “recipes for life.” Included are new dietary information, updated recipes, and wisdom from life experiences. About the Author

Vivian Cate and her husband Bob have three adult children, Amanda (Clint), Nick, and Ryan (Anna Marie). Vivian has years of experience as a public speaker (including a Revival for Kids of All Ages), children’s ministry coordinator for a national conference, and writer for several ministries.
