About the Book
Digging for Gold comes to fill the need to teach sound and balanced biblical truths. Emmanuel Elendu draws from his years in ministry and professional practices to lead groups and training classes.
Elendu uses the question model in his study designs. The book deals with topical and contemporary issues to address simple but practical Christian living. Digging for Gold serves as a resource for Christian workers.
The stories and styles of presentation meet students at a crossroads while leading to the truth and the life. When you invest in stocks and bonds, you expect a good return on investment (with promising market dynamics). As you study with Digging for Gold, the return on your investment will be worth something more than gold.
About the Author
Emmanuel Elendu was an investment analyst and then a financial reporter. He moved from commodity trading to textile importation, where he worked as an African representative for a UK firm. He combined business and ministry, planting churches as a missionary to Nigeria, Kenya, Malawi, and South Africa. Since 1984, he served under Scripture Union, Christian Union, NIFES, Christian Pentecostal Mission, and The Redeemed Christian Church of God.
He published Commodity Map of Nigeria (1998), an investment finder that helps with resources repositories of hard and soft commodities. In 2012, he published He Got Me Jazzed and Inspired, a training manual for school of disciples.
Emmanuel is the founding pastor of RCCG Dominion Centers in Cincinnati and Dayton, Ohio, and Northern Kentucky. He is a consultant in information technology.
He brings a rare combination of corporate life with scriptural insights that exemplify the man on the street fitting into the principles and practice of the Kingdom of God. His simple, out-of-the-box and practical approach to ministry is intriguing; lending to the construct of Digging for Gold.
