As long as we are breathing in this earthly realm, we will go through many trials and tribulations. I have labeled these tests we go through as our encounters with facing the giants. The victory in it all is to see our faith strengthened by our trust in our Father God.
He sent The Precious Lamb of God, Jesus, now our battles are already won. This is an awesome reason for the Church to praise and worship Christ Jesus for the debt He paid for us. We can never repay Him; however, we can show our appreciation in loving others, in seeking His Holy Will and in Exaltation. (1 Samuel 17:47, Psalm 18:39, Hebrew 11:34)
Praise the Lord! Sing to the Lord a new song, And His praise in the assembly of saints. Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edge sword in their hand. Psalm 149:1, 6
Our Pastor taught us that we should not get stuck in our troubles. When you ask God to help, He is going to be there to help us and sometimes He will send people to help us. He said, “Make a decision not to fear those giants and do not stay in a negative stronghold.” If we always strive to live according to God’s Word and perform our job duties with excellence, God will prosper us and we will have good success. Joshua 1:5-8, 1 Samuel 22:1-5, Philippians 4:6)
The Sanctuary or Church of Christ Jesus is our hospital and another throne we come to for dumping our hurts and renewing of our minds. As we come in and as we go out, if we believe The Word of God, we should be excited about what the Word of God reveals about who we are in Him. We should leave Church stronger than before because of what we have been taught and believe God’s Holy message we've examined for ourselves. (1 John 2:13, 5:4)
I never thought I would see the day that we could not leave home without a phone in our pockets or hanging on the side of our purses. We are now able to talk and send text messages at any point and time of the day worldwide.
Have you notice how we look for our phones at night to make sure it’s charged up and every morning we make sure we do not leave home without it? Sort of, kind of, like the credit card commercial. Where is our Bible for our everyday reading and where is our preparation to face the influences for the day?
I have learned through experiences not to leave home for work without my Bible. I needed it so many times for peace of mind. We were blessed to have Chapels and Chaplains in the work place. Many time Employees would need prayer and we had to be ready to share God’s Word with love even when we are going through our own trails. Bible reading and praying is essential to our survival and readiness to help others too. We are God’s Church!
These expensive gadgets consume most of our time and most of the time we use them every day. We have to be careful not to allow these gadgets to keep us from tithing and sowing seeds. We have to obey God’s Word to supply food for His storehouse. As children of God, we are blessed to be a blessing. God does not need the food, but His Church is called to assist with helping the poor and the needy.
We have to seek God’s Wisdom for our lives and be thankful for each day that The Lord has given us to make a difference in our lives and in the lives of others. We need The Word going before us preparing the way; consequently, His strong hedge of protection will surround us and our families. The enemy is trying to keep us distracted from reading and studying The Word of God. (Psalm 91:1-16)
Let’s not be disappointed when we miss a day of spending time in our Bible. We just have to start over every day until it becomes a major part of how we start and end our day. Just remember that our faith level will never be stronger than our fellowship with God. Studying The Word is where we get the wisdom we need from God.
Practice praying and asking God for His Wisdom and His Holy Hedge of Protection daily. He will help us get our schedule in order. I am trying this process and it is working for me. When unforeseen circumstances occur, that is okay, just get back on track the next day. The main thing to remember is to never give up on God because He never gives up on us. Ezra 10:11, Psalm 91:1-16, John 8:29, Acts 17:32-34, 1Thessalians 4:1, Hebrews 13:5, 16, 1 John 3:22)
The Holy Spirit, Our Comforter, is always interceding within us to help us. Jesus is coming back at a time no one knows but our Heavenly Father. We need repentance now; we need to seriously seek, pray and obey The Holy Word of God to be Disciples to testify to those not yet believers. (Luke 23:33, John 19:17, Acts 17:30-31, Romans 8:26-27)
Did you know we’re Doxological? Meaning, “We were made to worship the Lord of lords, Who is also, The King of kings, Jesus Our Savior, by our expressions in songs, hymns, praises and our lifestyles! We have so many reasons to praise God and to be thankful as Christ believers. (Psalms 48:11-13, Isaiah 56:7, 1Thessalonians 4:17-18, Matt 7:7, 2 Chronicles 7:14, 15)
Our Pastors should not have to plead for a response to the Anointed Word of God during service. I hear Pastors/Teachers/Ministers saying, “Come on somebody? Can I get the Church to say amen? Are you all getting the message? Are you all awake? It is dishonorable not to respond with praise to the awesome Word. (Hebrews 13:15-17)
