In your prayers, as you longed for a mate, the Lord was awakening the essence of what your mate needs from you. Every dry place in you the Lord filled with living waters. Use this flow as a life source for his good success; he too will rise up in prosperity.
Genesis 24:67 speaks of Isaac’s marriage to Rebekah. He trusted her enough to bring her to a very personal place. In return, she relinquished her heart, and her love healed his broken place.
Here is my very broad perception of Genesis 24:67. “Man [husband] took woman [wife] into sacred [personal] place and because woman had been in righteous separation [celibate] unto the Lord, she was appointed [anointed] to comfort his soul.”
This sex is a connected completion of husband and wife, symbolically one life, originally formed by God. His release comes like the pulse of a heartbeat—exerted and drained; instinctively, she wraps around and secures him. God’s holy union is one in which man is not created to be alone, and woman helps him to reach fulfillment. She holds his heart. Casual sex and sex with condoms lack depth and commitment; they are acts of relief that are absent of trust and love.
King Solomon expresses his wisdom with passionate depth and God’s abiding glory. Ecclesiastes 4:9–12 states, “Two are better than one, because they have a good [more satisfying] reward for their labor; for if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up! Again, if two lie down together, then they have warmth; but how can one be warm alone? And though a man might prevail against him who is alone, two will withstand him. A threefold cord is not quickly broken.”
There are those who don’t want to marry. God has destined some to remain unmarried, and these individuals are content to be so (Matthew 19:12). For those who want to marry, being unmarried can be burdensome and distracting. God does not intend for you to be a weary, desperate, and forlorn soul. Your time of celibacy, being one with the Lord, allowed for self-reflection and restoration, and He made His banner known over you. His glory is still present when the one season is completed, and you are purposefully unified with your husband. God is present and pleased as you make unashamed expressions of love’s unhindered passions. Perfect love has no fear (1 John 4:18), and you can love, knowing that He loves you (1 John 4:19) and has granted your petitions. He is glorified in your submission to unite freely with your husband.

About the Book
I have come to notice one of the radiant accessories on a woman is the love of her man. With the love of a man, she appears enlightened to move freely and unencumbered knowing and relying upon his assured protection. She, in turn, is so pleased, she bestows honor on him. Complementing his character they portray a simultaneous reaction of God’s grace in cyclical motion. When one stops, plans lose momentum and tread less ground toward the purposes of God.
This is where a prior season of cleansing and restoration prove beneficial. In this devotion to God, emotional healing, and spiritual fortitude is established. With the Lord, and through Holy Spirit, fears, insecurities, rejection, misguided decisions, and other negative emotions are discarded or diminished.
Knowing self, through Him, she becomes self-less for him; this is an asset to keep the relationship moving and staying the course of God.
