First, let me say how thankful I am to God for allowing me the life of happiness that I have had so that I could write about it. Also, I want to thank my good friends who have shared in my life as well as the ones who have made comments about this book. Special thanks go to my good friend and “adopted” mother, Doris “Cousin Tuny” Freeman. She has been not only an inspiration in my life but a good friend whom I talk to everyday. We talk by phone and just enjoy a laugh. The government should listen to us and follow our example, for we have the answers to our problems. For years I have been trying to write this book, and at times I have sat down and put some things together, but it seemed that I could not get down everything that I wanted to share. Then I realized that the problem was that God had not finished with me, and I had not lived the parts that he wanted me to write about. It now has come to me, four years after my mother’s death, that it is time to start putting my thoughts down. My life might not be that interesting to you as a reader, but the main task I have in this undertaking is to share with you the life I have in Christ and to share what Christ means to me. My aim is to offer a look at the love and understanding He gives and the plan He has for everyone, not only for me. If we follow this plan, I believe that it will lead us to total happiness and success in our lives. After looking at today’s news about all the financial problems, wars, murders, homeless families, hunger, earthquakes, storms, and other unfortunate circumstances of our present world, we can study the scriptures and learn that such misfortunes have already been reported in the Bible. All these tribulations were described for us in the Bible as events that would happen before Christ comes back to establish His kingdom. My mission is to show you how to be ready for His return and how to live a life of happiness, peace, and success. This life might not be the one you had first planned, but it is the life that He has planned for you.

In Two Heads Are Better than One, Ladd asserts that God has a plan for all of us and that no matter what happens, He will see us through if we keep believing.

About the Author
Chris Ladd has enjoyed being a character actor in movies, television, and stage productions for more than thirty-five years. He is a member of the Screen Actors Guild and AFTRA; he also serves on the Nashville SAG Council and the Nashville AFTRA Board of Directors.
