Life Unlimited

People, events, and circumstances have a way of placing limitations on our life. In turn, limitations can have a drastically negative impact on the pursuit of our goals and dreams. This book is about rising above those limitations. While we can not erase all limitations, physical limitations most especially, we can certainly learn to establish, meet and often exceed realistic goals. This book is about moving beyond limitations, overcoming obstacles, and pursing an abundant life, more specifically, a Life Unlimited. The book is divided into five sections designed to move the reader toward that positive end. I firmly believe that you must Adjust Your Attitude, Define Your Dreams, Harness Your Hopes, Go For Your Goals, and Live Your Life, if you want to discover Life Unlimited. Life Unlimited begins with a foundation in Christian faith and moves the reader to not only set faith-centered goals but also provides the means by which one might achieve those goals. Within these pages lies an important message that Christians need to hear as we face the daily struggles, disappointments and hurts of life. As a Presbyterian Minister and Army Chaplain, I have seen lives shattered by events. I have stood by the bedside of a dying mother leaving behind two young children. I have knocked on the door of military families to bring them tragic news from the battlefield. I have counseled many people who have struggled with addictions, with poverty, with abuse. These events can derail our pursuit of the abundant life that Jesus Christ promises. Life Unlimited is designed to help lifelong Christians, new Christians and seekers get on, get back on, or stay on the track toward abundant life. In my own ministry I have tried to speak this message of perseverance and hope to a wide audience, and it is my goal that “Life Unlimited” reaches an even wider audience in need of encouragement, hope and direction.
