Have you ever wondered if there is life after death, or what happens after a person dies or where you will spend eternity? Is there a real heaven and what are the requirements to gain entrance to this place called heaven? Is there a place called Hell? Where there is no hope and nothing but torment forever. Why would anyone want to go to this place that we call hell? This book will take the biblical view of heaven and hell. We will look at God’s creation from the very beginning and how one man’s sin condemned all off mankind. We will see how that one sin effected all of God’s creation, and the relationship with our creator, GOD. We will see just how much God hates sin, and that no sin will go unpunished. This book will talk about God’s wrath and who will fall under His judgment. Some of our churches today do not like to discuss God’s wrath, but His wrath is just as certain as His loving redemption plan. I will biblically explain who will fall under God’s judgment and wrath. Although there are many examples of God’s wrath in the Bible, I will only be writing about three examples: 1. The handwriting on the wall found in Daniel chapter five, 2. The destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah found in Genesis eighteen and nineteen, 3. The great flood in the days of Noah found in Genesis chapter six through eight.
We will talk about the place the Bible calls hell and give a biblical example found in Luke chapter sixteen of how horrible hell will be. Not only is it horrible, but it is also forever. We will see how the people who are in hell are conscious. They possess full use of their faculties and memories, while existing in torment. We will see how the evil one, Satan, from the very beginning set out to destroy man’s relationship with His creator. The reason he does this is because he hates God and God’s creation, man. Satan is a deceiver, a liar, and a destroyer who is out to devour the human race. Satan knows his destination because hell was made for him and all the rest of the fallen angels, as well as any person who rejects God’s redemption plan.
Hebrews 2:3 states, “How shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation…” We need to understand that God is a loving God. He provided a way to escape damnation in a place called hell. How do we do this? By not neglecting His great salvation plan. If we do neglect His plan, we will not escape His wrath. Sin entered into the world by one man’s disobediences to God’s word; yet, by one man’s obedience to God’s word, God provided a way for man to escape His wrath. That way was, and still is, the Son of God, Jesus Christ, God In the flesh. Because of Him, man has a way into Heaven. A place of no more curse, night, or even sun because God will give them light and they will reign with God forever. Heaven is a place so beautiful it is hard to find the words to describe it. A place where there is no more death, mourning, crying, or pain- physically or mentally. In heaven, the old order of ways will pass away, but God, because of His love, said that He will make everything new.
So how do we get to this place called heaven? In this book, I use the phrase true believers. So who are the true believers and how does one become a true believer? We will see that there is only one way to please our creator, and that is by faith. Hebrews 11:6a states, “And without faith it is impossible to please God.” Good works and deeds are fine; however, that will not make you a true believer. There is only one way to become a true believer according to Gods word, the Bible- ye must be born again. The last two chapters will show why faith is so important to the new birth.
I hope when you read this book the Holy Spirit will convict you of sin, righteousness, and judgment; and through those things you will receive the gift from God through faith- His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ. This book is a book of biblically eternal choices on where you will spend eternity.
